M2Previous ‘heroic’ leader of the department, who subsequently moved to a neighbouring hospital. Participation within the model was often attempted through video-link between hospitals.
M3Newest member of the group. His arrival to the group has been deemed to be a calming influence on the group. Had previous leadership experience within other National Health Service Trusts.
M4One of the quieter members of the group. Although he became more vocal throughout the course of the study, he primarily exhibited laissez-faire (masculine) leadership.
M5Male leader, with democratic leadership attributes. Would often deputise as chair person.
