When she closes her eyes
He is still there.
She can sense the smile in his eyes.
She can smell his skin,
And hear his voice
She doesn't have to try; she can see him.
When she sleeps at night
She dreams sometimes;
It is always him that she sees.
He was right by her side
For years and years
But she needs him most now he's gone.
She sees him still
Though he is no longer here
Does he see her pain and anger?
For better or worse
Till death do they part
Wasn't supposed to happen till later.
