Medical humanities in Nepal: questions and challenges

Though common in developed countries, medical humanities (MH) programs are rare in Asia in general and in South Asia in particular. I have in the past conducted a voluntary MH module at the Manipal College of Medical Sciences, Pokhara, Nepal,1 and at present am conducting a module for faculty members at the KIST Medical College, Lalitpur, Nepal.
